There's a famous old film (1945) called Christmas in Connecticut starring Barbara Stanwyck. In it she plays a well known writer pretending to live a bucolic life in an old house in Connecticut where she spends her days cooking for her family and writing her column "Diary of a Housewife". In reality she lives alone in a New York City apartment - and can't even boil an egg. You can imagine the story that ensues when she finds herself in danger of being found out!Here is my version of Christmas in Connecticut, a collection of charming, antique homes, all ready for the holidays!
